A Western Chic Crested Butte Mountain Wedding

Catherine and Brian brought their Dallas roots to the mountains of Crested Butte for a full wedding weekend built around connection, privacy, and incredible views. Instead of booking a traditional venue, they secured a private mountain property where their closest friends and family could stay together and celebrate for several days. As a destination micro wedding in Colorado, this event was designed to feel immersive from the moment guests arrived. Wild Social Micro Weddings stepped in to manage the logistics, vendor coordination, and weekend planning so the couple could focus on hosting their favorite people.

The weekend began with an on-site pickleball tournament, complete with custom hats and shirts that set the tone for a relaxed but intentional guest experience. On wedding day, Catherine and Brian leaned into bright wildflowers with subtle pops of blue, allowing the Colorado mountain landscape to remain the visual centerpiece. With a smaller guest count, every design choice felt elevated without being excessive. Their ceremony backdrop showcased why Colorado continues to be one of the most sought after locations for mountain micro weddings, offering the most beautiful expansive views.

They closed out the weekend with a Dallas-meets-Colorado western after party, featuring a custom hat bar and the horse trailer bar from Wandering Wagon, which added the perfect western touch. This is what a well executed Colorado micro wedding weekend looks like: private property, curated activities, thoughtful design, and a guest centered experience from start to finish!
